XenoDream TutorialsAnti-AliasingAt present, XenoDream currently does not do any anti-aliasing. Super-sampling during the render would consume a lot of time, and a lot more memory. (This is how Fraxflame functions, and it can really slow down the process, but it is necessary to get those smooth results.) Within XenoDream, rendering with various transparency settings gives a degree of depth/color anti-aliasing, but not the whole deal. So, the easiest way to produce anti-aliasing is to render at larger sizes, and then use a graphic editor to resample down to the final image size (usually 50% or more).Garth was considering an option to light at half (or perhaps less) the rendered size as an anti-aliasing option, which would preserve the scale of the lighting filters, edge effects etc. But no final decision and/or timeframe has been made yet.
