Many thanks to those who have sent congratulations on the
success of the FOTD website. It's truly a joint venture,
which would never exist without Paul's idea in starting, and
work in maintaining, the actual site.

Searching for fractals and writing the discussion, combined
with my regular occupation, takes up about every minute of
my day, leaving little chance for me to reply individually
to every letter of appreciation that I recieve, much less to
build a web site. But such letters are a large part of the
inspiration that keeps me going, so once again, many thanks
to the writers.

In addition to the unlimited supply of fractal images and
ideas, I've got a backlog of ideas about things such as
philosophy, science, religion, politics, etc., which I
sometimes sneak into the fractal discussion, trying of course
not to offend, and to keep my iconoclastic nature under
control.

But with a wider audience, my outspoken tendencies can only
increase. So look for more outspokenness in the near future,
perhaps in the FOTD for 23-01-99, which will appear in 12
hours.
